i love his writing, its about real life scenarios that are possible, and his views on human nature. i love it

I don’t honestly have only one or two absolute favorite authors, I like a great many. Off the top of my head Brandon Sanderson, Orson Scott Card, Frank Herbert, and John Grisham. Lot of sci-fi, if you couldn’t tell xD
Um, favorite books. Right now, it’s the Mistborn and Dune series, Next (Michael Crichton, forgot to add him to favorite authors!), as well as a bunch of books I’m using for some research into random stuff (dunno all the titles, but they’re interesting).

I like to read non-fiction mainly.
At the moment I’m enjoying ‘Toujours Provence’ by Peter Mayle, about his experiences of life in the South of France. It’s so vivid and endearing. I had barely finished reading the prequel ‘A Year in Provence’, when I couldn’t suppress the urge to lunge into the sequel.

i’m not really a dedicated reader. but i do love sherlock holmes and agatha christie’s poirot novels.
i’m a very visual person. i even choose visual biography books (all pictures) over biography written in words.

It’s probably my favorite occupation, I’m never without a book. Favorite authors: Fyodor Dostoevsky, James Joyce, Franz Kafka… Favorite books: The Brothers Karamazov, Ulysses, The Master and Margarita (by Mikhail Bulgakov).

Holy crap somebody already mentioned Chuck Palahniuk, I’m impressed.
As for favorite books, Fight Club, American Psycho, and last but not least The Picture of Dorian Gray.
Pretty much any book with a complex protagonist (really narrowed it down didn’t I =p).
Right now I’m actually reading some apocryphal literature. The Book of Enoch to be exact.

fav author: definitely Oscar Wilde. I love George Carlin.
Mary Stolz is cool too. I learned some big words reading from her.

I read the HP series. I liked The Last Lecture. The History of Love wasn’t cheesy.
Dear John was better than I expected. A Child Called It made me sad….
I forgot to finish Atonement. 200 pgs til I finish Les Miserables

Yes, I love reading. I really like the Harry Potter series and also Twlight though I am not one of those obsessive fans who go "team whatever", I think that is just pathetic.
Anyway I also love mysteries, true crime and also true stories.

) is Hermann Hesse….He can make even the most simple things sound luscious and beautiful, and he is constantly comparing things that are opposite to show how similar they actually are..

I read Dear John in December and it changed my perspective on love for others.
(The book by the way is a thousand times better than the movie)

White Oleander, Shopoholic series, Memoirs of a Geisha, HARRY POTTER i dont give a fuuuuuuuuuuuhk –its by far the best book ive ever read, I know why they serve beer in hell, Girls by Nic Kelman, Bridget Jones Diary, 1984. I get into alot of Non-fiction books too, right now im reading some book on Marylin Monroe and the History of Rome. Im having a little trouble concentrating though :/

I usually dont like to read but lately i’ve been reading a lot and going out to the library
I dont have a favorite author, I usually just go by what people recomend for me or something that seems intresting. I like a lot of non-fiction and scientific books and history, also graphic novels, not manga kind but ones with really gorgeous illustrations. I tend to look at the illustrations more than the actual story with graphic novels.
lol yeah most people say that i read/watch a lot of boring stuff.
