First if possible try to backup (copy) your important data (pictures, files, music, etc.). You might have to get some technical support from a company like Geek Squad or a local PC technician but it will not be cheap.

\Next try to find or acquire a Windows XP boot disk. Do you have XP Home or Professional. Since each copy of Windows has a unique key, you can actually borrow the disk from a friend if you a label on PC that give you activation code. Once you get the disk and the code, then boot the PC from this disk.

Give it a few minutes and try to access the repair/reinstall Windows menu, then delete the hard drive partition and create a new partition. Then do a complete reinstall.

you could install over vista with an xp disc

    or dual boot

use google for a decent tutorial
