I’m trying to acquire some training tools for my newer sales reps. I’d like to focus on solution selling for value vs. price, and also on building confidence.
May I strongly suggest you do not use these tools? As someone with experience I can tell you these tools are a way for the provider/author to make money. Your reps, however, will not learn. Some will resent it, others will be happy just not to be working/at their job.
The best training is always having them practice their art, monitoring them and providing peer/supervisor feedback and creating a positive environment where the reps are happy and therefore motivated.
I love EVERYTHING Italian, food, culture, and MEN…LOL, but I was curious about a book (w/ Audio CD) that would be great for learning the beautiful language of Italian?
to crack goes the whip…why do you roll your eyes about that….I think Italian men are SEXY!! So I thought that is a good thing
!!!
I like ‘The Collouquial Series’ (Routledge, Taylor & Francis Group) . There’s a ‘complete course’ for beginners, and even a ’step 2 course’. With those books you can get CDs so you can practice your pronunciation:)
You can order them through your bookseller or via the website www.routledge.com
Hope you’ll like it and good luck!
I really want to learn arabic and i was wondering what’s the best book out there (perferably from barnes and noble) to learn from. Any help would be appreciated.

I have an hour commute everyday and want to start benefitting from it by learning new languages. I would love to hear of some success stories of using audio cds to learn a new language and which type you used.
I’m sorry I don’t have an answer for you, but I just had to say to you that YOU ROCK! You will benefit SO much from being bilingual, especially when the language you chose is Spanish! Good Luck and more power to you!
I am a dentist and I would like to purchase some audio books/stories for my younger patients to listen to while I am working on them. It has been a long time since I was in grade school…can any of you give me recommendations for enjoyable, popular listening for this age group (and specifically what age group you would recommend for each work)?
I don’t want anything scary…no murders, vampires, warlocks, etc. (Think "fun", distracting…) Short would probably be better than long (< 1-2 hrs), or if longer, that there would be interesting things separate from the big climax at the end.
Thanks in advance for your help. And thanks from the little ones too. =]
These are for your 8 — 12 year old patients:
You can even put them on an iPod or MP3 player.
Holes, Louis Sachar
A Long Way From Chicago, Richard Peck **** This is great because the chapters are each a story.
The Great Turkey Walk, Kathleen Karr
Frindle, Andrew Clements
Any of the Ramona books (these are good for about 5 years and up.
I commute 1 hour to work and 1 hour from work. I love to listen to motivational and constructive audios so I don’t feel like I am just wasting time. It is very expensive to buy audio books and it is hard to find subjects that interest me. Any help would be appreciated.
I can’t really help you too much but you might try the site below. There are sites that rent audio books as well in that link. I have a 45 minute-hour commute and I listen to music, tried to learn languages, and teaching cds.
I would Like to know, Which is the best Audio Book, for picking up Ladies. Can Anyone help me.
Well, I’m not sure, but if you get an audio book on picking up ladies, make sure that none of them see your audio book.
I would like to have downloadable books, but I guess cds in the mail like netflix is ok. Also what size mp3 player is required for most popular books.

LibriVox provides free audiobooks from the public domain. There are several options for listening. The first step is to get the mp3 or ogg files into your own computer:
