Best Audio Books

I barely started reading it today and I already made it to Chapter 17 out of 26. I can’t stand it no more I am tired and need and audio book to finish the job.

See if your public library has a copy.

Downloading it would be illegal.

I’m looking for an alternative to SimplyAudiobooks.com. They are too slow and I’m not able to get more than 2 books a month for the "unlimited" rent by mail service. That averages out to about $9 a book at their current rates. Thanks for your help!

If that website doesn’t have it, try the Library. Most of those check out audio books and, I would think, they would tend to have the classics in stock.

Does anyone have a link to somewhere where I can download the whole book free? Please don’t say anything to me about it being illegal and stuff. I had already bought it on a site and had it on my computer, but it somehow got deleted. I don’t know how but it was gone, and I really don’t want to pay for it again, I would appreciate any help! It doesn’t matter that you once had it, any more than if you once had a TV but lost it. You wouldn’t be allowed to go just take another TV from a shop because that would be STEALING. It is exactly the same thing. If you lost the printed Twilight book, you could not just go into Borders and TAKE another one–but that is what it sounds like you want to do now. Why do you think the audio version is any different?
Answer: It isn’t.

And while you may not want to hear that it is ILLEGAL, you NEED to, because IT IS.

The only fair way to deal with this is to go back to the site you bought it from, contact their customer service department, and explain the situation to them. Most will let you re-download a book if they have a record of you previously buying it.
You might also try a local library, but that download will only be temporary.

Doing elsewise makes you a CRIMINAL.

(And I’ve made something of a hobby of reporting criminals to the publishers in recent weeks. I’ve already sent in the accounts of 3 people since Friday who were requesting stealing a book and admitted to knowing it was illegal to do so. I’m sure when they are schilling out $20,000 in legal fees they’ll wish they’d just spent $14.95 to buy it legitimately. I’ve saved this thread, so deleting it won’t matter any. Just do the right thing.)

Looking for a place to download Charlaine Harris Audio Book torrents for free. Anyone have any sites?

I am sure there are illegal ones, but the only legal free ones I know of are via the Library.

Check with your local library to see if they are a member of or have access to a central Audio library, I know some are and I listened to 3 or 4 of her books that way.

Alternatively, just get the audio books from your library – whatever your local library doesn’t have, it will be able to order in from it’s network of other libraries.

Nicholas Spark is not giving his book away for free or the audio book. Anyone that does is stealing. This could earn the person responsible possible jail time and fines of $150,000.

For the past few days i have been searching the net to find a free audio book for looking for alaska. I have searched everywhere but i cant find any free ones. If anyone knows where I can download it from PLEASE answer and send me the link.

That is his right. He writes books to make a living. Respect that.

Have you tried checking the website of your local library? I know here in Georgia the library system has a site just for audio books that you can download for free. There is a time limit for how long you can check it out of course, and you’ll need a library card to do it, but its the best option I can think of that wouldn’t be illegal.

You have to have a software ‘utorrent’. It’s perfect with downloading everything. I downloaded a lot of audiobooks from there. Here are the steps:
1-go to www.download.com and search for utorrent software. Download the software and it will download on its own
2-after it’s installed, go to google and search for the audiobook you want. For example ‘twilight audiobook torrent’. Dozens of links will appear. Pick the most suitable and download the torrent from the website (by clicking on ‘download torrent’ in the site)
3-Now after you’ve downloaded your audiobook torrent, go to utorrent software and add the torrent you downloaded byt clicking on (+) the plus button for adding torrents. add the downloaded torrent from the drive you downloaded it in.
4-It will show a window showing you the contents of the torrent. click okay and it will download to the output drive you specified for the download.

I downloaded twilight, dean koontz books, harry potter and a lot of other audio books like that for free.
