Which websites could i find free audio book downloads on?

The audio book that i can’t find is on "The Pearl", by John Steinbeck… but when i do find them the books are usually only parts…

Steinbeck’s work is still under copyright, which is why you legally only find portions of The Pearl.

I went to ‘links’ here, of which there are many. I followed a few, but they either no longer exist or aren’t what you want.

http://www.enotes.com
enotes is a terrific site, from which I get much info and you could too, BUT it costs. I pay a monthly fee. For a 90 day trial, you still have to pay $7.95, but if you have a lot of lit work to do, it’s worth it.
http://www.amazon.com
There are 10 new and used audiobooks of The Pearl here for $7.07…

*And there will be free audiobooks of this at your public library.*

YAKiToMe! http://www.yakitome.com has a bunch of free audio books submitted by users. You can also make an audio book out of any electronic text with YAK and podcast it to yourself. Very handy for long commutes. (I listen to work.)
