I am looking for a website where I can pay to stream or download Audio Books. Does anybody know of such a site? More so of popular audio books of fiction/sci-fi/fantasy works that I would find in any good book shop.
Thanks for any help here.
Most publishers are not willing to give audio books away for free. The author needs to be paid, the sound engineers, and the actor that reads the book.
Audible is about the best you can do.

I can actually download and listen to audiobooks from my library’s website. It’s free, just need a library card to sign in. The program is called Overdrive and they have lots of different kinds of books – including sci-fi fantasy. Not just old stuff, but current stuff too.
If you want to pay – you can use Audible. But you’ll need a credit card and sign up for a subscription. But if you’re new you can get one free book to try out.
