Apple has discontinued the mini ipods, and it’s hard to find tips for them either. Can you buy/download audio books to put on your mini, or are those just for the ipods and nanos?
yes you can but it will take up a lot of memory

You should be able to. You can find some audiobooks on iTunes, and if you can’t than you could put the CD in your computer and load it to your iPod.

ask a librarian – mine talked to me about bookmarks very important or else you have to listen to books non stop
