obviously i need sites where i could download some free audio books. other sites offer books but [my gawd] the good ones are not for free. could anyone help me?

http://librivox.org/ is a site that posts public domain stuff. A lot of oooold books, classics even. H.G Wells and such. The search is kinda buggy, best to browse through the library. Only bad this is, the chapters are all separate mp3 files. You’ll have to join them up yourself or if you use an iPod use something like this:http://www.freeipodsoftware.com/ for your audio book conversion needs, it works like a champ, and is free also.
