I have saints of ladderdy or whatever they are called, come to my house, no they are a different door to door religion group, oh what are they called.
Got it Jehova witnesses, ok they come to my door, now I used to listen to them and such but they came so often that 2 of them came up and i said no thanks and slammed the door in there face.
I do belive in God and Jesus died on the cross and repent my sins, and all that.
This wasn’t christian of me, what should I do?
Don’t tell me to tell them to polietly leave cuz they don’t.
Next time i’ll have a nail ready next to my door and hang a cross upside down and put in some red contacts and make a fake book that says Devils Bible in red bloody looking ink and have a cloak on, and record some sheeps getting slaughtered from a butcher for an audio and invite them in to worship to my prince of darkness.
Bet they wouldn’t come in.
Hey MV, I pray with my kids every night. I know the whole think ok?
Sorry if I came off like I didn’t know about God and accepting Christ as my personal saviour.
Ive tried most everything even telling them about my personal religion belifs.
I know not to do what i said it was just kinda funny in a weird way ok, imagine the look in there faces.
Thanks for all the advice.
Mark what does that mean?
Or if anyone else knows please, for my curiosity let me know, cuz im a curious individual, if I was a cat i’d be dead.

What you’re talking about is called the church of Jesus Christ and the Latter Day Saints/ AKA LDS AKA Mormons. They are one of the fastest growing religions in the country. Jehova’s Witnesses are a weird cultic group where one guy decided he didn’t like everything the bible taught so he took a bunch of stuff out and put his own stuff in. Mormons are also considered a cultic group because they don’t believe in the trinity, don’t believe in salvation by grace (though they claim to, it’s clearly untrue once you become a member) and they also believe the bible is NOT the complete, inerrant, authoritative word of God (which Christians do). Because of these thigns, though they say they are Christian, they are not according to biblical standards. They misiniterpret the bible according to the book of Mormon, the doctrine and covenants (another book of "doctrines") and they have one "prophet" who makes random commands. The book of mormon has been changed over 3000 times since its original version. I recomend you reading a book called "Under the banner of heaven". it’s all about the history of mormonism and this guy who killed an innocent woman and her baby (he was mormon). Anyway, it has all the historically TRUE documents and discusses how Mormonism is compeltely man made.

To get them to leave, just tell them you’re not interested. Say "thank you for your concern, however I believe that your group is a cult and the God you worship is not the God of the Holy bible." which is true. If we all died tomorrow and Mormonism was true, all "good people" (people who haven’t killed anyone basically" would go to heaven, even if they’re not mormon. if we all died tomorrow and Christainity were true (which i believe it is) Mormons would go to hell, along with anyone else who didn’t recieve salvation.

Anyway, I love talking to Mormons and I’m going on a mission trip to Utah this winter. SooooOoo if you have any questions, i’d be happy to answer them. Hope this all helps!

Any ideas on who to talk to or where to look to become the person that reads the books and has it recorded to become an audio book? I would love to do this for a career.

I think almost all of the hiring goes through talent agents. You have to have a special voice to do voice overs, and they look for those from radio and entertainment.

I’m not discouraging you from trying, I think it sounds like a great job too.

There is a web site called:

www.voices.com

I don’t know anything about them other than that they try to hire voice actors.

I’d look up some of the talent agencies, especially for radio, and talk to them.

That’s where I’d start anyway, and even if it doesn’t work out it might get you one step closer.

Good luck.

www.torrentportal.com might work, or www.btmon.com, or piratebay. There was another site but it was very limited and I forgot what the site was.
I keep hearing Demonoid got pulled because of PSP issues and then I hear they’re experince technical issues…I finally get a chance to join when registration is open and now this…That bites.

i have a sansa mp3 player and i can use audio books on it but i don’t have any. what site can i get a lot of audio books from different authors(im especially looking for R.L.Stine)?

Sorry but R. L. Stine writes books to make a living. He is not giving away his books for free.

If you want the audio books, you need to buy them or check them out of the public library.

"In a civil suit, an infringer may be liable for a copyright owner’s actual damages plus any profits made from the infringement. Alternatively, the copyright owner may avoid proving actual damage by electing a statutory damage recovery of up to $30,000 or, where the court determines that the infringement occurred willfully, up to $150,000. The actual amount will be based upon what the court in its discretion considers just. (17 U.S.C. 504)

Violation of copyright law is also considered a federal crime when done willfully with an intent to profit. Criminal penalties include up to ten years imprisonment depending on the nature of the violation. (No Electronic Theft Act, 18 U.S.C. 2319)"

Does anyone know where i can find online audio books full cast downloads, cheap or free? ty

YAKiToMe! (http://www.yakitome.com) is a free website with free audio books for downloading. More interesting, it allows you to convert any electronic speech to a downloadable audio book. YAK uses high-quality text-to-speech synthesis to do its conversions. It sounds pretty good for many books (not much emotion, but OK) but is very good at technical materials where emotion isn’t as important. Check it out.

Does anyone know where I can buy/download audio books in French such as Eragon, Twilight, The Chronicles of Narnia, books like that? Not language learning audio, but actual books. All I can find are classics, but I’d rather have something more modern.
*jdfghszj…
Perhaps you did not understand me. I’m looking for books, not sports wear.

here is a list of Canadian podcast some are in French (Tell me if you see any Sci-fi ones)

where can i download the audio book of ark angel (anthony horowitz) for free?

Have you tried checking the website of your local library? I know here in Georgia the library system has a site just for audio books that you can download for free. There is a time limit for how long you can check it out of course, and you’ll need a library card to do it, but its the best option I can think of that wouldn’t be illegal.

It was on iTunes Audio Books. It said it only was 4 hours long but I know that it should be longer than that. It also said it was unabridged. It just doesn’t match. Please explain this for me.

I’m not sure if it should be longer. Granted, I don’t listen to audiobooks very often, so I really don’t know. But I did read that book a few years ago and I remember it being somewhat short. So maybe 4 hours is really all there is to it.

My brother doesn’t like to read (unlike me), but doesn’t mind listening to audio CDs. He loved listening to Hearts in Atlantis by Stephen King. Does anyone have any recomendations as to novels that could be found on audio CD that are similar to Hearts?
My brother is 24 years old. Doesn’t like reading, but LOVED Hearts in Atlantis on Audio CD, so I am sure he would love others. He works at a desk, so he has plenty of time to listen.

He may like Dean Koontz. My whole family loves him. The whole Odd Thomas series is great and I really liked From the Corner of His Eye.

Stephen Kings "Bag of Bones" was an excellent audio book also. He actually did the recording of it himself so he portrayed the characters exactly as they should be. Oh, and the Green Mile was a good audio book also. It wasn’t read by Stephen King but whoever did read it did an excellent job. :)
