So yeah I need Lee the last years on audio I dont care how I get it as long as its free just point me in the right direction…Thanks.

Jim Butcher has 4 released audio books that I know of. I have the first two now. Love these books and the guy doing the reading is absolutely perfect for this series. Do you know of a site that would tell me when book 5 would be released? Also, are there related authors for me to consider? Unabridged audio books only please. I can’t read novels due to low vision and I share the audio books with my relative who is now legally blind.
I get one audio book a month and Harry Potter has July’s slot. Just don’t know what else to get after September?
Okay, the reader is James Marstars– Spike from Buffy. There are only the four out now, but the producer is Buzzy Mulimedia. They have a myspace at http://www.myspace.com/KarenBristow
Email her and ask when they’ll do book 5.
Now for the rest of your question, you might like Iris Johansen and Kay Hooper. Both do mysteries with a supernatural twist. You might like Dean Koontz as well. If the supernatural elements appeal, you might like Charlaine Harris and MaryJanice Davidson.
Happy listening!
I have the audio book Blood and Smoke, and 1408 is on it. It was subtle and creepy…I thought that the movie was just plain absurd. The story was crap, the acting was sub par and being familiar with the original cast, I thought it was incredibly miscast.
Yeah I actually just watched the movie 1408 Monday night. Was really looking forward to it, but was not at all impressed. I like John Cusack, so I hate to say that this movie disappointed me, but it did.
Hi there!
I wanted to buy the audio book for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows from amazon.co.uk website (by Stephen Fry by the way). I am not sure what the difference is between the adult edition and Children’s Edition in audio books.
Any one of you heard the Harry Potter adult and childrens editions earlier? What is the difference? For an adult like me, will it really matter what edition I choose?
the difference between the adult version and the childrens version is the same as it is with the books, the childrens versions cover is a bright cartoon type drawing with inspiration taken from the book . the adult version has a dark cover in black and grey with some white with a slightly sinister type of illustration, this is to make adults feel better about reading a childrens book the thought is that if it does not look like a childrens book no one can ridicule them for reading it, the content of both is exactly the same so it is up to you which one you choose

The last week I’ve done much surfing online for Christian topics. I was surprised that several websites offering audio, video, or print teachings are affilated with Seven Day Adventists. It’s literally impossible to search for anything Christian related, and not eventually stumble upon one of their sites.
A few examples of their many websites are: Amazing Facts, Voice of Prophecy, It is Written, Great Controversy, Harvest Time Books, Good News Unlimited, and it goes on and on.
Does anyone know what has enabled the SDA church to pick up their teaching and preaching ministries so quickly, and why do they often entitle their websites by different names, so that it’s almost impossible to determine they are SDA related?
Until you come across something which mentions The Sabbath, Ellen White, or other SAD teachings, one would never know the site was Seventh Day Adventist related. What has caused the recent increase in their teachings? Increase in membership?
Thanks
Yes all Christians are called to teach. That is our responsibility. But I’m "personally, not aware of any denomination that has picked up their online and offline teachings so quickly.
Most Christians believe that we are in the last Days and that Jesus is about to return soon.
Revelation 14 says that 3 messages go out to the world right before the end comes. The first message says worship the creator and then it quotes the 4th commandment.
As you said this is one of the main points emphasized by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church
I believe that it God is using the Seventh-Day Adventist Church to declare His end-time message.

I am looking for a practical to stay current in my Portuguese and listening to audio books seems like a fun and effective way to do it. Any ideas?
If an author writes a book in Portuguese and invites you to have it for free, then it is legal. Most authors can’t afford to give their books away.
Usually free books are stolen books. Some one scans them and puts them online. That is stealing from authors. Don’t deal with pirates.
However most authors don’t give away their books for free. And with audio books, the readers and the sound editors want to be paid and their is rental for the studio so it is unlikely those will be free.
I suggest you check the college library and see if they have audio books in Portuguese.
I’m only learning German, and i want new media to practice on.(there’s a point where all the small talk of teachining tapes drives me mad). I really like Douglas Adams and i know all his stuff by heart (so i can follow the plot in German even though at the moment i speak very little German), I have the German version of his first book and i’m loving it, but i want more.
Some problems i’m encountering are:
1. I am having trouble understanding the German sites, to to find what i want, and i’m a bit unsure about payment and stuff in Englich so once it’s in German i’m just lost.
2. I don’t have a credit card and can’t get one for a while, so i’m a bit stuck on payment options. (I could borrow a friend’s credit card if there’s no other way, but i’d preffer to avoid it.)
Amazon – you can find any German book in Amazon
beside have a look at these 2 sites and have fun

Because of than i want to "tune" my ears listening native speakers and reading at the same time. I would like novelist like S. King, J. Grisham, S. Sheldom, etc. because I can get their books in english here in Chile.
Download Shareaza or Limewire! I don’t know if you can find audio books by the writers you mentioned, but I downloaded The Old Man and The Sea narrated by Charleton Heston from Limewire and it was great.
i really need help finding a good site with free audio books that you can listen to online without downloading. The book im looking for right now is Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie. Help! asap
Murder on the Orient Express is still under copyright and there is no legal download of an audio book.
Librivox is best source of audiobooks out of copyright.
